Walnut Shadow Bedside Duet

Product Details

A Matched Architectural Mirror Pair for Hotel Headboard Walls

The TMR27-H16 Walnut Shadow Bedside Duet is a coordinated pair of wall-mounted mirrors developed for upscale urban hotels, serviced apartments, model rooms, and contemporary hospitality suites.

Rather than functioning as two conventional personal mirrors, H16 organizes the entire headboard wall through a balanced combination of reflective glass, deep walnut, and slim black-nickel shadow lines. The two units are manufactured as dedicated left-hand and right-hand components, creating a controlled architectural relationship on both sides of the bed.

A True Left-and-Right Pair

H16 is designed as a matched pair, not as two identical mirrors placed beside a bed.

On the left-hand unit, the mirror is positioned on the outer left side and the walnut wing is located on the inner right side. On the right-hand unit, the walnut wing is positioned on the inner left side and the mirror remains on the outer right side.

Once installed, both walnut wings face inward toward the center of the bed, while both mirror panels face outward. This mirrored orientation establishes a clear centerline and gives the headboard wall a deliberate, project-specific composition.

Restrained Inward Lintel Detail

Each deep-walnut wing extends approximately 48 mm toward the mirror at the upper inner corner. Together, these two short top returns create a low, symmetrical lintel gesture around the center of the bed.

The returns remain intentionally short and do not connect across the full width of either mirror. This keeps the composition light and architectural while avoiding the visual weight of a conventional full wood frame.

The outer edge of each mirror remains straight and uninterrupted, reinforcing the product’s clean urban character.

Shallow Recess and Black-Nickel Shadow Line

The mirror plane is recessed approximately 6–7 mm behind the walnut face. A slim 4 mm cool black-nickel shadow gap defines the transition between the wood wing and the mirror.

This narrow line creates depth without becoming a prominent decorative frame. The contrast between deep walnut, cool black nickel, and neutral silver mirror is particularly suitable for contemporary hotel interiors using warm gray upholstery, dark wood furniture, brushed metal details, and restrained architectural lighting.

Designed Without a Visible Front Light

The standard H16 does not include frontal illumination. There are no exposed LED strips, glowing shadow gaps, or bright perimeter light frames.

This makes H16 a strong option for hotel rooms in which decorative lighting, reading lamps, and ambient ceiling lighting are already coordinated as part of the interior design.

For selected projects, a very low-output 2700K rear wall wash can be added. The optional light is intended to create a subtle wall halo rather than provide task lighting or turn the mirror into a conventional LED product.

Developed for Hotel and Contract Projects

TMR27-H16 is designed for project buyers who require repeatable dimensions, controlled left-and-right orientation, consistent material finishes, and coordinated installation across multiple guest rooms.

Project customization may include:

  • Overall dimensions
  • Walnut veneer tone and grain direction
  • Black-nickel finish
  • Mounting points and wall conditions
  • Optional rear ambient lighting
  • Voltage and wiring position
  • Project labeling
  • Protective export packaging

We recommend reviewing the complete headboard-wall elevation before production so that the mirror positions, bedside tables, lighting fixtures, outlets, and upholstered panels can be coordinated accurately.

H16 Compared With Standard Bedside Mirrors

Two standard mirrors can provide reflection, but they do not automatically create visual order across a hotel headboard wall. Identical mirror orientations may also make the installation appear accidental or unbalanced.

H16 uses dedicated left-hand and right-hand units to establish an intentional relationship with the bed center. Its inward-facing walnut wings and paired top returns create a stronger architectural rhythm without adding a heavy frame.

Compared with the TMR27-H15 Inward Oak Bedside Duet, H16 is quieter and more urban. H15 uses smoked oak and concealed reflected lighting, while H16 relies on deep walnut, a narrow black-nickel shadow gap, and a primarily non-illuminated design.

Typical Hotel Application

In a premium city-hotel king suite, one H16 mirror can be installed above or behind each nightstand. The deep-walnut wings face the upholstered headboard, while the open mirror edges face the outside walls.

The short upper returns visually direct attention toward the center of the room without creating a full frame around the mirrors. Small bedside lamps can provide functional reading light, while H16 contributes reflection, material contrast, and architectural balance.

This arrangement is also suitable for serviced apartments and model rooms where the design team wants the bedroom wall to feel customized without introducing complex millwork.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is H16 sold as one mirror or as a pair?
H16 is designed and quoted as one matched set containing a dedicated left-hand mirror and right-hand mirror.

Can both mirrors be produced in the same orientation?
No. Both walnut wings must face inward toward the bed center. Using two identical orientations would break the intended composition.

Does the standard version include LED lighting?
No. The standard H16 has no frontal lighting. A very subtle 2700K rear wall wash is available as an optional project feature.

Can H16 be used as a bathroom vanity mirror?
The product is primarily designed for bedroom and headboard-wall applications. Bathroom use would require a separate review of moisture conditions, electrical requirements, materials, and installation details.

Can the dimensions be customized?
Yes. Dimensions can be adjusted according to the bed width, nightstand position, room elevation, and project installation requirements.

Can the walnut and metal finishes coordinate with other guest-room furniture?
Yes. Finish samples can be reviewed alongside the project’s casegoods, headboard materials, lighting fixtures, and metal hardware before bulk production.
